For custom doors, gates, and fencing we measure on-site before building, so the final number is based on your actual opening.

Yes. Quotes are free, and you get a flat price before any steel is cut, not an hourly estimate that grows as the job goes on.

Four things drive most of the price: the size of the piece, how detailed the design is (a plain bar door costs less than one with a cut-steel Zia, quail, and copper accents), the fill material such as screen, mesh, wood, or composite, and the installation conditions. For fencing, the total length and number of gates matter most.

Small repairs are welcome. Mobile calls carry a minimum charge, because bringing a fully equipped rig with power and gas to your address costs money before the first weld. We quote that on the phone. If bringing the part to our shop would cost you less, we will tell you.

You call or text with the idea and a photo. We measure on-site, go over the design and colors with you, and give you a flat quote. Once you approve, we build the piece in our Las Cruces shop, and the same crew installs it and checks that it swings, latches, and locks properly.

It depends on how detailed the design is, how busy the shop is, and whether the steel is in stock, which changes week to week. You get a firm timeline with your quote, and we call you if anything changes.

Yes. We go over the layout and colors with you before building, and we can show you options, such as different Zia styles or center pieces. Customers regularly mention in reviews that the finished piece came out exactly as they pictured it.

Yes. Bring a sketch, a photo you like, or just an idea. We have cut Zia suns, quail, roadrunners, sunflowers, crosses, Kokopelli, mountain ranges, horses, and hares, and we can work in your family name or business logo.

You choose. We have built black, turquoise, white, red, and earth-tone pieces, and we can pick out details such as a copper-colored Zia or turquoise accents in a second color.

Steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, using MIG, TIG, or stick welding depending on the job. Most doors, gates, fences, and carports are steel. Cast iron and specialty alloys we look at case by case, so send a photo.

Las Cruces is dry, which helps, but the base of a gate or fence can rust where sprinklers or standing water keep hitting it. Point sprinklers away from the steel, keep dirt and gravel from piling against the posts, and touch up any chip in the paint before rust gets under it. A quick wipe-down after dust storms keeps doors and gates looking new.

Yes. We repair trailer frames, tongues, and hitches, loader buckets, and farm and ranch equipment, at our shop or on-site with the mobile rig.

Our shop is at 2599 Sand Hill Rd, Las Cruces, NM 88012, on the north side of town. Much of our work happens on-site, so call before you come by to make sure someone is there.

Yes. The emergency line runs 24/7. A broken gate that will not close, a security door that will not lock, or equipment down mid-job goes ahead of scheduled work. After-hours calls carry an after-hours rate, which we tell you before we head out.

It depends on where you live. The City of Las Cruces, Doña Ana County, the Town of Mesilla, and your HOA each have their own rules on height, setbacks, and structures. Check with them before the build. We can give you drawings and dimensions to include with your application.

Yes. Send us your HOA's guidelines, such as allowed colors, heights, or styles, and we will design the gate, fence, or door to fit them.

Yes. We are AWS certified, licensed as a New Mexico contractor, and we carry liability and workers coverage. Ask for the certificate of insurance before work starts and we will send it.
